Got Baggage?

Hello and Happy Monday! Hope you had a good weekend. Today's challenge over at My Craft Spot is Anything Goes.

My hubby works away from time to time and I like to add a little surprise card or gift in his bag for him to stumble across! He has a very sweet tooth and is off to Scotland this week,so this is what I made to hide this time!

Shock,horror...I used my Imagine at last!  I really like how these turned out.

These were super easy to make. I used Best Friends cartridge for the bags and added twine and used Always and Forever stamp set from My Craft Spot.
Love heart sweets in one and chocolate hearts in the other!

Do check out my amazingly talented DT mates and their inspiring projects and come join in the fun!

I have a bigger bitty bag project to share later this week.

(Kimberly has the most adorable bitty bags over at My Craft Spot.)

I am entering this over at Karen's Little Scrap Pieces - use red
Thanks so much for looking.

Valentine treats!

Hi,hope you are having a fun weekend. Over the festive period I used the lollipop die from Emma at My Creative Time to make lots of gifts for my son to give to his friends and as classroom treats. For some reason I just didn't take any pictures!! Just a busy time of year I guess.

I made a Valentine's version just because!

Filled with lovehearts!

I have a very different gift tomorrow!

Cake Pops!

Hi,thank you for stopping by and for all the lovely comments you have been leaving,I really appreciate them!
Thursday already,  my week is flying by. My son had his braces fitted yesterday and his mouth is a little sore at the mo!! I've also restarted my health kick with a dress size smaller as being my target!

Last week I said I would share some piccies of what I made for my Mum, a card, a banner and some cake pops. Unfortunate to have a new obsession with cake pops  when I am starting a diet!!

I was so pleased how these turned out as it was my first time of making them.....no pressure then!!

Using my Imagine at last...well,occasionally at least!!

Thanks for looking,

Where did you come from?

Hi Everyone, hope your weekend was good. My Lovely Mum was 70 at the weekend and we went to visit and celebrate with her. We all had lots of fun and laughs. I will share  a couple of the special things I made for  her later in the week!

This year I have decided to try and use the challenges I enter to make cards for my family and friends as I am really poor at letting my creations go!!!

One of my favourite challenge sites is BBTB2 and they have a current challenge to use the caterpillar cut from Walk in my Garden.  I could have gone down the foliage route but decided  on this particular shaped card as it is for a birthday boy this week. We still haven't any snow here yet but we are now waking up to frosty mornings and what little boy doesn't like bugs?

WIMG - caterpillar cut at .75"
Hello Kitty - snowman card  cut at 6"
Twigs embossed
I hand cut the felt as struggled cutting it on the cricut!

I am entering this card over at the following challenges :-
BBTB2 - caterpillar from WIMG
FCCB - Snow Fun - use a snowman or snowflake
Birthday Sundaes - photo inspiration, must use a snowman,(I included blue and green too)
The Cuttlebug Spot - Winter scene to include texture such as felt
Little Scrap Pieces - Anything goes
It's ages since I've managed to enter multiple challenges with one card and you are all my favourite sites! lol

Thanks for stopping by.
I am playing catch up with commenting but have found just a few of my friends that blogger isn't allowing me to comment! Just wanted those of you that I haven't caught up with to know it's not through lack of trying!

Have a great Monday.

Strawberry Cupcake

Hi,hope you all had a great weekend. Today is a new challenge over at My Craft Spot. Challenge #40 is It' Delicious...project must include a delectable treat - paper of course!

Recipe
Art Philosophy for cupcake cut at 5.5".
Magnolia Ink die for strawberry.
Vintage Vanilla seam binding, the completely fabulous Valentine's twine
and Friends & Neighbours stamp set all from My Craft Spot.
Pearls and dew drops.
I cut 2 plain card cupcakes and creased and glued top part to make card(gypsy wasn't playing fair!),then cut DP to cover inside and out.Used double thickness 3d foam in centre of lower wrapper and single thickness foam near outer edge which gave it loads of depth and a great curve.

I was really pleased how this turned out. Do check out the amazing projects by the DT and come and play along. I always enjoy seeing your creations.

Kimberly has just released 2 new stamp sets, bitty bags and twine that you won't want to miss.

Winter Skating

Hi,hope you've had a great week. Over the holidays we went ice skating over at Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park. Bitten By The Bug 2 has a Winter Woodland skate challenge so I thought I would make a winter birthday card. We don't have any snow here in the UK but we do have lots of holly and berries and this is where my inspiration came from.

Had a bit of a 'Tim Time' lately. I was inspired by his tags but never found time to play. I managed to  make his rosette trees(although I think he would faint on my take!! heehee!!). Click here to see them.

Recipe
Tim Holtz Christmas kraft resist card
(If you look closely you may be able to see that I used Shabby Shutters and Fired Brick  to paint the holly and berries on the card base).
Winter Woodland for skates and holly.
Art Philosophy for the card. (Santa came! :) )
Tim Holtz ticket die and stamp.
Everything ink distressed,skates sanded..
Crackle glaze on holly.
Holly Berry twine from My Craft Spot
Eyelets
Lots of 3d foam

Thanks for looking.Have a fab weekend.

Happy Birthday to my bestie,Kate.

Winter Wonderland Birdhouse

This week over at My Craft Spot the challenge is Winter Wonderland and to use glitter. The DT has come up with some fabulous projects. It wasn't my week to design but decided I would like to play along too and here is my birdhouse.....

I used Ranger's white stain on the wooden house and then edged with white acrylic paint.
Covered it with  Echo Park's Season's Greetings papers.
Added Diamond Dust to the edges and to the painted snowflake chipboard.
I gave my little bird a red breast.
The sentiment is from Winter Wonderland from My Craft Spot

The distress ink white stain is very subtle!

Hope you  join in the fun.
I am entering this over at Little Scrap Pieces  - link a project new or old.

Thanks for looking.
